One of my favorite radio station launches from back in the day (2000!!) was when WSUN-FM Tampa flipped from Oldies 97.1 to 97X. 97X is still around but not on 97.1 FM. They're now just a HD sub-channel to WTBV (HD2) and WWRM (HD2) with a little bitty translator in Pinellas County on 97.5 FM. So still technically 97X but not really.
